It was January 6th, 2009 and Josh and R.J. started off on a journey. On a quest for the “next great building product”, our travels took us around the world. The two of us just a couple of “Modern Day Stone Farmers” looking for stone on glass panels…  little did we know, we were about to uncover something far greater. Something… far more valuable.
Did we find the stone we were looking for… ? The answer is yes. We found granite; but… not the kind of granite that you or I have ever seen before. There are many varieties of granite from all around the world and everybody has selected bits of information about almost every type. Most granites differ in composition, size, type, origin, color, etc.
Welll, we thought our find was so significant… we decided to write home about it. These were a few of our notes…

… 100% natural stone
… granite that bends.
… translucent granite.
… as light as wall paper.
… less than 0.5 lbs per square foot.
… less than 1 millimeter thin.
… panels that are 2 feet by 4 feet.
… use only a thin coat of water based adhesive.
… it is all so very simple.
